What is the Superior Farm Fixup?
In September, fellow nonprofit Community Greenhouse Partners gifted Food Strong a nearly three-acre property at Superior and 67th. On the grounds is a 7,000 square foot farmhouse, 20,000 square foot former church, gardens, a chicken coop, and hoop houses we will transform over five years into an urban farm, volunteer housing, and community hub offering vocational and entrepreneurial training, wellness services, and space for cultural and recreational events. By focusing our time, resources, and energy into developing this property and valuable community services, we will accomplish more for our neighbors together, including: Help Food Strong transform Superior and 67th into our new HQ, urban farm, and community gathering place providing year-round fresh, locally-grown produce, affordable volunteer housing and nonprofit office space, vocational training, and critical health services for Cleveland residents!

The 5-Year Plan
Each year, Food Strong will work with local residents and nonprofits to develop and launch a new offering at the Superior Farm, starting year one with the restoration and expansion of the existing gardens to grow and distribute fresh produce year-round. Years 2-5 will add housing, vocational training, health services, and finally recreational venues, each providing valuable services for residents and sustainable funding for our growing nonprofit.

Targeted Giving
We invite private and corporate donors to target allocation of their gift (e.g. gifted for gardens development, housing updates, vocational skills, services, music venue development, etc). We are also available to discuss naming rights opportunities and to partner with you or your organization to identify and develop a specific contribution opportunity that best aligns with your interests or advocacy.
